Lifebook

Since I was a little girl, I dreamed of being a lawyer. However, I chose to create a language in art.

In myself there are two aspects that coexist: one orderly and rational, and another spontaneous and creative where everything is possible and fluid.

In this piece, you will find these two aspects working together, synchronized.

It is a new way of writing about life, like a palimpsest; writing again above what has already been written, still being able to see the ideas left behind; what remains from the Time. Some rewriting them, others changing them completely. It is an invitation to remember that there is something beyond the visible, an intangible world that crosses us, like a hidden plot that guides the way of mankind on earth.

At the end of a trip to Lebanon, on a beach in Byblos, a man gave me a book.

His gesture of giving a book in Byblos moved me. 

I felt I needed to take that book out of context, and give it a new meaning: I created a space of resonance for it.                

I expanded it through collage, gold and elements to re-signify words, life, time.

This book is not a codex to read while seated, it is a display that invites to look at its message from another point of view.
